Artist Statement

Artist statement I am creating a body of artwork that connects the challenging reality of life to the inherent beauty of existence. Difficult times can often leave us in dark places. I use art as a lantern to explore these dark places, creating a scaffolding that enables us to explore and understand intense experiences. For me, art is a tool to overcome obstacles of the past, celebrate life, and empower action through service.
